[ well, after trial, takeru will go find mineo to chat. ]

[ he sounds tired, mostly. ]

[well wherever he is he's currently trying to get cactus needles out of his hand. considering he punched fukuda with that hand and the other also has cactus needles it's a process]

.... meant everything I said in trial. Even if we're all assorted assholes back home, I don't think we should get to just pin anyone's crimes here on someone innocent and convenient.

[a beat]

But if I had to fucking go another week thinking about how Fukuda-san kidnapped someone, strapped them to a table, and threatened to drill a hole in their head I probably would've said something about him anyway.

Mm. I don't regret voting him off, since I highly doubt he would have never killed here.

[sengokus]

... yeah.

And I don't trust that whatever his wish was wouldn't be awful for a ton more people.

[dotcom]

Either way, we have to live with our decisions, and then try to regroup.

[ he sighs. ]

Do you have any thoughts on the trial?

[sengokus]

[ . . . . he pauses in his cactus needle picking as he turns his hand over. it's the right one that he used to punch fukuda, so it's a bit angrier given that some of the needles just embedded further in.]

We got closer this week.

[and running around in the circus felt weirdly familiar to him, like he was doing his job]

.... might've been Ashiya-san. We never talked about the toblerones in the jail again. Makes the most sense too right, if one of the victims had a power from the Avatars they could've used on him so he kicked everything.

Grace said that when she spoke to him, he acted as if he didn't know the Avatars could give powers. Which is odd, since last week we spent a large chunk of the trial discussing that.

[sengokus]

Now that's a lie.

Because I told him that weeks ago.

Maybe I should use my power on him...

If you did, what would we do if we end up finding out the truth and he did it?

[what would they do with the knowledge of a murderer?]

It's something we'll have to figure out.

If I did it before a trial, the issue would be making sure he doesn't get suspicious. Would be a shame to plant a target on myself.

[sengokus]

[ . . . . he just sighs at that and runs a hand through his hair.]

... you're not close with him, huh.... And there's no reason why we'd ever invite him to talk to both of us.

[they barely even want to acknowledge they know each other]

You could always do it next trial, final hour type stuff.

I'll keep it in my pocket, then. We don't know what next week will have in store for us.

[ maybe someone who is bad at hiding murders will murder. ]

[and he just sighs even as he pulls out the last cactus needle, letting it flaw with a clatter as he shakes out his hand]

[his nose wrinkles]

Did you have any other thoughts on it, Takeru?

I'm mostly wondering about the amount of killers. People brought up the idea of it only being one person, but... that's still a lot of ground to cover.

Hot tub, cactus needles and everything were all together. So that was Luca-san, right?

Vlad-san, even if he was in the music room... that wasn't cactus needles, right?

But if we generated a cactus, that means it's gotta be someone who had a Lust power last week, right?

The assumption people were running on was that Luca used the power to defend himself.

Or attack someone else.

[sengokus]

[ . . . he looks thoughtful before he shakes his head]

Probably just to defend himself.

But... the tea room and stuff - that was so last minute, but what was that about? There were more cactus needles there too. Was that Luca-san too?

They really made it through a lot of rooms... how exactly did the plant power work again? What was the time limit on it?

They went through a lot of rooms, so it would at least give us an idea of how long they would have possibly had to do all of that.

[sengokus]

[he shakes his head]

I don't know - I'd have to ask Childe-san, Lenore-san, or Aoi-san. But we can think about it... did we even think about if Vlad-san or Starphase-san used their powers on anyone?

[there's so much information to go through. he sighs.]

... I think we need to separate the evidence list again, now that we have all of it, then see if we can track a path for everything that we do know.

Mm. The problem is that once the new week starts, everything gets hectic-- I don't think people really thought much about last week's trials because of the memory thing that's going on.

[ everyone is too busy running from memshares to discuss plot ]

[he sighs]

Gonna be honest... I don't know how much further we were getting with that one in the first place. What were we supposed to do without a body...?

There's still Grell, at least, but...

I don't think people really care about solving that one.

[sengokus]

She was a serial killer.

[gotta acknowledge that]

But I also don't know if I buy that it was self-defense or anything. It seems pretty convenient too, for people to just suddenly have a reason to kill everyone that reads as a threat.

While I don't think there's anything wrong with presenting the theory, it only really works if there's evidence to actually back the theory up. Her previous behavior isn't really evidence.

But people still switched to focusing on it as if it was true.
