Making the rounds Well Looking like I'm making the rounds You know I really hope these texts are secure? Anyway ground floor I'll wait by the elevator Or do you wanna meet at a room
[guess he's chilling and waiting by the elevator then. he's mostly looking at his phone? when takeru exits - mineo's emotions are remarkably calm? sort of. there's a general sense of caution and anxiety that exudes from him, but it calms considerably when he looks up and takeru's there
he offers up a smile, a little tired but mostly composed]
[he pauses for a second before he shifts his eyepatch - and the eye underneath does look a bit irritated? like it was stabbed a little by something dull.]
.... well, it was an accident, which is probably why it happened at all.
Why? She didn't have to do that. She just told your group, right? I don't really....
[have any trust issues with them?]
I don't really know what she would've left out. The fact that I was there, and I - [ . . . he pauses, leans down to press a kiss to takeru's forehead, straightens up] ... I shot him, and then she helped to obscure the wound. There's a bullet somewhere out in the ocean, but no one knows how many bullets I had to begin with in the first place so I can lie if you want me to.
When he threw his chopsticks at me to give to Gu-san, it got me in the eye, but otherwise no injuries or anything. We spent most of the time leaving misleading clues.
Apparently they're seeing demonic attack flowers in the garden... but we didn't leave anything like that there? Childe just asked to be killed somewhere else.
We left some stupid stuff lying around but... really not meant to implicate anybody. I think it'd be easier if we just don't vote.
[ . . . he nods at that, agreeing. and then he just huffs out a breath, running a hand through his hair as he goes to sit on takeru's bed]
Anything else?
[he'll at least try to stay in business mode for as much as takeru needs but.... mineo really can't think of anything much. it's been done. he killed a man, and who knows what'll happen tomorrow.]
That reminds me - Sloth-san gave me something. [a longer beat] I can.... pretend to be dead for an hour. Um. I guess... if things look really bad at the end...?
[and they aren't allowed to vote for a dead person?]
And today - "I'm Disgusted, I'm Revolted"? I can make someone incapable of going through a conversation without insulting people for a day. It just sounds like you.
Greed gave me something that lets me spread false info about someone. And my prize was something called The Picture of Dorian Gray. I can steal someone's luck to deflect a serious blow.
[ he is a little concerned about the wording on that one but ]
[ . . . . . phew. mineo sighs at that at least, before he goes to curl his arms around takeru to pull him closer still, letting his forehead rest on his]
... I'm okay. We're both okay.
[even if he can't promise that everything will work out okay after this - at least for now, he's okay.
and - almost more important to him, takeru is okay.]
[ . . . . . . there's a little note of amusement before he just lets his face rest in the crook of takeru's neck.]
You still have to ask?
[given the effect this week but - admittedly mineo has been keeping it fairly tightly locked up. knowing that others have a read on his emotions contributes to his caution, his anxiety. he feels a lot and he feels a lot constantly, but at least nothing he feels really seems like a dead giveaway. there's no guilt for what he's done - only....
the complicated feeling comes back at the question, and it comes back worse. there's frustration, there's uncertainty, there's a feeling of being lost - like your whole identity is crumbling a little. there's a sense of idealism, of hope, but it wars with pragmatism and a wish to survive. it sits heavily in his chest, it weighs a thousand pounds, it feels like it'll drag him down if he doesn't constantly fight it.]
[ he finally wraps his arms around mineo, letting out a breath he wasn't really aware that he was holding.
the thing is, he wasn't really just worried about mineo's safety. he knows how complicated the idea of killing someone else is to him. it's something that takeru would have liked to avoid, if it was possible. ]
week 6, friday
Where are you?
no subject
Well
Looking like I'm making the rounds
You know I really hope these texts are secure?
Anyway ground floor I'll wait by the elevator
Or do you wanna meet at a room
no subject
Wait for me.
no subject
he offers up a smile, a little tired but mostly composed]
Hey.
no subject
but he just wordlessly grabs mineo's hand and starts walking to the sleep bay. ]
no subject
in a desperate attempt to make takeru a little less mad he'll interlace their fingers]
no subject
but he'll just stay quiet until he reaches his door and lets them inside. it isn't until they're in his bedroom proper that he looks at mineo. ]
Explain. Do you have any injuries?
no subject
[he pauses for a second before he shifts his eyepatch - and the eye underneath does look a bit irritated? like it was stabbed a little by something dull.]
.... well, it was an accident, which is probably why it happened at all.
Otherwise, no. We're pretty unscathed.
no subject
Tell me what happened. Vira had to skip out on stuff involving you.
no subject
When he threw his chopsticks at me to give to Gu-san, it got me in the eye, but otherwise no injuries or anything. We spent most of the time leaving misleading clues.
no subject
[ it's muttered.
and then he sighs. ]
Okay.
no subject
but he is putting through takeru through this so he just quite honestly bites his tongue and looks away.]
... okay?
no subject

Apparently they're seeing demonic attack flowers in the garden... but we didn't leave anything like that there? Childe just asked to be killed somewhere else.
We left some stupid stuff lying around but... really not meant to implicate anybody. I think it'd be easier if we just don't vote.
no subject
A no vote shouldn't be that hard since everyone wanted him dead in the first place, but... flowers?
[ that's so? odd?? he frowns. ]
I guess we'll see.
no subject
Anything else?
[he'll at least try to stay in business mode for as much as takeru needs but.... mineo really can't think of anything much. it's been done. he killed a man, and who knows what'll happen tomorrow.]

[ bitch. ]
Greed gave me something that lets me spread false info about someone. And my prize was something called The Picture of Dorian Gray. I can steal someone's luck to deflect a serious blow.
[ he is a little concerned about the wording on that one but ]
no subject
[but there's just notes of amusement and fondness from him. even as he sits, he reaches out to takeru's hand and tugs him to come closer.]
.... huh. Well, keep both, I guess.
[ . . . ]
Come on, sit down.
no subject
there's still annoyance radiating off of him, but it's noticeably calmer now that mineo confirmed he's not injured. ]
no subject
... I'm okay. We're both okay.
[even if he can't promise that everything will work out okay after this - at least for now, he's okay.
and - almost more important to him, takeru is okay.]
no subject
[ he still killed someone, after all, even if childe was a a terrible murderer. ]
no subject
You still have to ask?

.... I'll be okay.
Just some old wounds opening up again.
