[he has to get a dig in since they're going to have this conversation. but mineo will. procrastinate? just a little? it's the sloth. normally he'd be running over but he feels even more scared than usual.

so he's making tea for himself, a very sweet coffee for takeru, and then he's gonna knock on the door to his room please be there so this spectacle isn't even a little public]

[ he's there, mostly because he's nursing a bit of a headache that the painkillers didn't totally get rid of. instead of doing any sort of greeting, he just takes his coffee and walks into the room. ]

[ohhhhhh he's in a bad mood which mineo knew but ohhhhhhh it's so scary to be here

there's an urge to run away and to not talk about it at all but - unfortunately his pride does win out. he follows after and it's only when takeru is seated that mineo puts his own cup of tea off to the side and just

formally goes on his knees and bows so deeply his nose nearly touches the ground.]

...... I humbly apologize for my poor behavior last night. I'm prepared to take responsibility for my actions and you can skewer me, stab me, kick me, hit me - I'll take it....!

he'll reach over so he can grab something off the floor next to the couch-- mineo's jacket, and he'll toss it over so that it lands on top of the other's head. ]

Which part are you apologizing for, exactly?

[ah - he deserves that, probably. but he'll move to take the jacket off his head if only so he can lift it to face takeru with the saddest puppy eyes. this isn't even the despair this week it's just mineo.]

Mm.... Everything that offended you!! [and he does seem to sincerely mean this, like a blank check for blaming everything the night before on him]

But!

Especially for treating you so roughly when you're my partner, and to do that when you had too much to drink....! That's just wrong, and I don't know what came over me, but that's no excuse! You have the right to demand whatever of me until I make it up to you.

[was takeru threatening to give him more hickeys and he just snapped? yes. STILL NO EXCUSE]

[ admittedly, he is not sure how to respond to this. takeru is used to just them disagreeing and fighting, so the earnestness of mineo's apology is throwing him so off guard at the moment.

there's a stretch of silence until he finally figures out what to say. ]

[he looks nervous like someone waiting to get decked - but he does in fact get up with that, moving to secure his jacket around his shoulders again now that he got it back]

Takeru...?

[just. cautiously..... but also knowing that if he gets hit then he deserves it!!]
