The Fields had bubbles rising from the river last night, and all the statues were laid flat with their arms and legs straight in the morning.

No. [ oocly it was too late ] But hopefully Harrowhark managed something.

In the security room, the Pink Panther opening song played when we woke up. It's... a cartoon, with a pink cat, being chased by police. Last night, we wouldn't be able to move limbs at time. And the fields, the medbay, the planetarium, the library, and the spa weren't visible on the camera feeds.

Those were places with people in. I was in the fields, Gu Yun was in the spa, there were going to be people in the medbay after yesterday's events, and I think someone was in the library? Not sure about the planetarium but it does seem to be a popular location.

Mahito, Mineo, and Endorsi were in the planetarium, so that tracks.

At least... for Mahito, there's a higher chance of it being someone who's good at fighting than not, even if we can't ignore the possibility of powers.

I think there's a lot of things we need to be cautious with when it comes to whatever happened to Mahito. And we have to be aware of what your ability, or Insomnia could do to throw a case off balance.

Not yet, but I know that people are going to be more forceful about the powers this time than last.

I think people were willing to let it go just because we knew they couldn't be involved directly with the murder, but that's no longer the case.

Same as a few weeks ago. I imagine it will come up very early on, then.

It's better to get it out of the way, so we don't spend the entire trial questioning it like we tend to do.

We might need clarification on that. You can take on a person's appearance, but I'm not sure what that translates to overall.

Still, if you were a very small person and you chose to take on the appearance of someone taller and stronger than you, you would have a natural advantage.

We can maybe ask, but I know the Avatars like to be vague when it comes to answer questions about powers. They might say the only way to tell is by testing it ourselves, but I doubt you guys would want to waste that power on that...

Depends on the circumstances.

I'm concerned this will be the week someone tries to set someone up for a fall, like with Ming Yi. There's enough abilities out there to allow it. And I'd rather catch an actual killer than condemn someone who hasn't.

I know Ming Yi's case, the general consensus is that it was very likely that Vlad and someone else were co-conspirators, but then Vlad was betrayed. Too many of Vlad's actions didn't really make sense unless he was involved besides being a victim.

But we'll see. If anyone knows anything about a potential frame job, hopefully they won't wait to speak up about it.

Oh, I agree with that consensus. There were too many of his movements that only make sense if he was also involved in one of the murders, specifically Steven's.

I have enough reason to think there might be one in play, that's all. So be careful. It's too easy a week to do something like this, and if we do what we usually do we could get someone killed who doesn't deserve it. Again.

We should also be ready for people getting cursed in general, so as long as we don't get too distracted when it happens.

Do we just start rounding up people and sitting them in the corner if they're cursed?
