The one my group went on, and Grace's-- they seemed to be based on the Avatars in some way.

So maybe that's why it went so badly? If they're based on them, but they end up going there themselves, it could have had a bad reaction.

So we need to know what happened, what they were doing because we are just assuming it's linked to them looking into the usual weekly disappearances, and... well. How many times they can get away with getting that injured and not staying dead.

I don't think there's a good time for this to happen at any point, really. Imagine this happening just after we finish up executions on a Sunday.

And they seem to spread through Monday and Tuesday, and start on Thursday and Friday. Such is the way here.

I know we always say we have to be prepared for whatever, but we're always taken by surprise each time.

If we managed to predict exactly what was going to happen, I'd be amazed. Maybe just knowing something is going to go incredibly wrong, normally around Thursday, is half the battle.

No, we still don't really know how much longer this is going to take. I think since we don't know how much everyone is indulging...

We don't know what the upper limit for indulging is either. I mean, I don't feel like I've been skimping, but I know the avatars have said some people have been doing the bare minimum.

Mm. The problem is mostly just not knowing that they consider the bare minimum.

I expect if we ask it'll fall into the "will be punished for speaking of it" category, but nothing ventured nothing gained.

It would just be simpler, since that would be the easiest way to encourage more indulging.

Maybe not that literal.

But just something to tell people if they're on the lower side of things or not.

But an idea would be good. Then you'd know if you need to do more, and not just get complacent.
