Going after someone who he didn't think would be a good fight would make sense if he didn't want to be caught. It's not like his word otherwise would mean much if you can just lie.

I don't really know what Lenore could do, but the assumption she would have been useless doesn't sit well with me.

I think that's fine, but I think it doesn't really matter how we personally see it, but whether or not Childe would have thought she'd be a good fight. His alibi was based entirely on what people here knew about him, and whether or not they'd believe if he'd pick someone who didn't seem like they were physically strong.

Which is stupid, because I don't know a thing about him. Also, has anyone here ever heard of makeup? I did make sure to touch everyone's faces, but he left it out in the open.

He was probably hoping someone would back him up, but at that point there were already too many potential strikes against him. [ ... ] And he probably wasn't expecting that item, even though we talked about it last week.

I can't guess about the makeup. That's just bad murder planning.

It's fine - this way, I can just make up my own. I had a thought that we might need to force a no vote this time, and if we did, I could claim to have an item that would let me track down who submitted a particular vote. As a disincentive for anyone to secretly get cute.

That's a good backup. I know someone who previously got something that let them see the actual vote spread. So something like that wouldn't seem entirely out of the question.

They did, but it was a week where we had a pretty obvious choice to pick-- Law. They didn't say if there was anything unusual about the votes, other than a lower number than expected were cast.
