Though I don't want to make the mistake of believing them when it's been a never ending cycle of learning new information that should make us suspicious, hearing their reasoning and deciding that they at least seem to be being forthright now, only to learn something even worse.
Oh, we should definitely be ready for any kind of double cross. But at the very least, they offered a deal to not purposely screw each other over.
