It could just be that some of the evidence overlapped, but the fact that it was the airport is what's weird. It's at least close to where Lenore was staying originally, but the opium den and medbay are two floors away.

The only way I can see it is if Aoi's killer took the spray, then went to the airport afterwards. And then... what? [ ... ] If Mahito killed Aoi, and Childe killed Lenore, did they just bump into each other at the airport and then go upstairs? It doesn't explain the bloody message though.

Either it's just that amazing we don't catch killers weeks after they killed, or we've let Childe get away with one murder before. Either one of those could be what Pride was referring to.

Cutting through the fluff here -- if you were on a mission to murder someone and get away with it, would you stop to interact with someone else? You'd be looking to avoid being seen. If you and another killer survived, they could be more aware of looking for evidence on you to make you the focus of attention, after all.

... And I don't think you'd want to waste time looking at strange things happening in other areas. You'd just know there was more than one person working that night. We're still missing one killer, regardless - whoever killed Mahito.

Well, no matter what, they still both ended up in that same spot. So if Mahito did kill Aoi, then it still means he went out of his way to go to the airport before heading to the spa. The medbay and opium den are on the same floor, so I think it's safe to say Aoi wasn't at the airport herself-- that implies she went up the elevator, then went back down to the original floor she was on.

I don't think anyone would really care about catching Mahito's killer at this point. Even if he didn't kill in other weeks-- which I think he did do-- the fact that he's most likely Aoi's killer probably tanked anyone's drive for it.

Satoru told me about him. It made a lot of things fall into place. I'm pretty sure that being nice, and pleasant and luring people into a sense of security was essentially his modus operandi.

That makes for a nice change, that's for sure. We... figured out quite a lot.

And we have more of an idea about who had what powers, although I'm sure more people will end up with new powers over the course of the week to throw us off kilter again.

We should probably be more forceful about revealing what powers we got next Saturday. Maybe not the powers themselves, but at the very least we need names.

Names would be easier to get out of people. But not everyone will offer it up, and sometimes with good reason -- we do have to remember that.

Lying about which one is yours is nothing but idiotic, because it's all numbers. You will get outed eventually, especially if we get the name of everyone's powers with the exception of yours. You need to know when you can't bluff any longer. Silence is fine, but you have to be smart in regard to knowing you can't get away with it forever in some cases.

Lying sure. But I mean more... keeping some powers quiet. There are some that will work better in general favour if you keep them a secret.

And if there's another event next week, we'll have to start all over again.

Like I said, I have no problems with keeping powers quiet. Shi Qingxuan and I didn't publicly reveal what ours did.

But at a certain point, you just have to be prepared to reveal yours if suspicion starts going that way.
