It's fine - this way, I can just make up my own. I had a thought that we might need to force a no vote this time, and if we did, I could claim to have an item that would let me track down who submitted a particular vote. As a disincentive for anyone to secretly get cute.

That's a good backup. I know someone who previously got something that let them see the actual vote spread. So something like that wouldn't seem entirely out of the question.

They did, but it was a week where we had a pretty obvious choice to pick-- Law. They didn't say if there was anything unusual about the votes, other than a lower number than expected were cast.

That doesn't surprise me. I didn't vote for him, because I felt he had done a public service, even if his reasons were moronic.

That's true. But I think if anything, it shows that the votes are probably a lot closer than we think they are, if people aren't voting for known culprits. It's something to possibly keep in mind, considering how Gojou gets voted for every damn week.

I thought Mahito was doing that. Evidently not? Or did some just decide they believed the bizarre theory where he killed Lenore.

Possibly... although I wonder why Gu Yun had more votes?

Did someone think he was helping Childe because of the power thing?

Oh. Yes, I know he was. He admitted it to me via text.

I wouldn't worry about that; I suspect Childe voted for him.

Did he say why he was helping him? Other than bad taste?

To clarify, he only thought he was helping him lie about having traded away his boon. When he realized there was more to it, he agreed we ought to expose him.

Bad taste is the answer. I think they had an arrangement where they would do favours for one another.

Honestly, I think even doing that is stupid. Childe would have looked way less suspicious if he didn't lie about what power he had.

Because of the numbers, it really is just a process of elimination to undo a lie about that.

I'm not exactly happy about it, no. But I suppose it helped make it clear Childe was lying about a lot of things.

And it might have stopped others from trying to claim a different one as their own in the future.
