I asked Greed outright if we could avoid deaths, and their answer was that it would be possible, if we used the knowledge we had to "set things in motion prior to the start." So. I don't know what that caveat means.
We already know that something is keeping track of the Avatars. So, that makes sense, but... what might happen if we know something that whatever it is doesn't want us to?
Yes. That was the sense I got. Apparently it is. . . not necessarily risky to discuss it amongst ourselves, though we ought to be careful about it. But we cannot talk about it with them.
... that's something we need to let everyone else know.
