I'm not sure. It's just a thought. There are a lot of people here, some of whom may be dangerous.
We ought to identify the person responsible quickly. If someone thinks they can prowl around taking out targets without repercussions, things will become dire quickly.
If everyone believes they can get away with it, it will be more tempting to try.

The most dangerous person right now is the person who killed Tamaki. They succeeded at eliminating two - why not try another?

It was a really thorough frame job... did they just randomly choose Beauregard because they thought it would be easy to replicate her profile?

It's possible. No one I've spoken to about the party remembered anyone else, but I wouldn't rule it out; nor would I rule out that Beau misplaced her staff in her own room, and it was stolen during the night.
